Morrison signs with Mars Hill

JoRaye Morrison of Wilkes Central High School signed a letter of intent last week to play football at Mars Hill University in Madison County. Morrison was the back-to-back offensive player of the year in the Mountain Valley 1A/2A Athletic Conference, rushing for 1,562 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior running back. He’ll play in the 2021 East-West All-Star Game on July 21 in Greensboro.
