The Wilkes Central JV football game at North Surry, scheduled for last Thursday in Mount Airy, was canceled due to COVID-19 protocols in the Eagle JV program.
The East Wilkes soccer team missed two games due to COVID-19 quarantining and opened their Northwest 1A schedule with a 7-0 loss to South Stokes in Ronda on Monday.
The West Wilkes varsity and junior varsity football teams, the North Wilkes varsity football team and the Wilkes Central varsity football teams all missed two games earlier this season due to many players being placed into quarantine protocol.
