Why aren’t we getting more COVID-19 vaccines?

Where is the Coronavirus vaccine going? Obviously not Wilkes County. Wilkes County has 68,000 people. To vaccinate everyone in the next five months, the health department would need to vaccinate 3,000 people per week.

At 1,000 per week, it would take 68 weeks (17 months). Other counties are getting thousands of dosages. Why are we not getting more vaccine? How is the distribution of the vaccine determined?
