The Blackburn family would like to thank all those who helped in the search for Andrew, the missing 11-year-old boy who was missing for several hours on Jan. 20 off N.C. 115. As a believer in Christ, we have hope and peace in knowing that God is in the midst.

We are so grateful and thankful for all who were involved, including the Wilkes Rescue Squad; the Broadway, Moravian Falls and Wilkes-Iredell fire departments; churches; friends; family; and others in the community.

Also, we want to thank Harrold’s Restaurant on N.C. 115 in the Broadway community and McDonald’s on N.C. 18 North in North Wilkesboro for providing coffee and food for the volunteers. I just want to thank God for his great love and care, mercy and grace.

CAROLYN BLACKBURN
