Stephan Lambert Lackey, 58, of North Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Charles Hollifield and Pastor Mark Albertino officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3:45 p.m. prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Mr. Lackey was born Dec. 19, 1962, in Wilkes County to James Derwood and Marjoree Lambert Lackey. He loved fishing, NASCAR, the Carolina Panthers and wrestling. He was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparent, Paul and Lorene Lambert, paternal grandparents; Sherman and Thelma Lackey Kilby; and a brother, Timothy
He is survived by his wife, Sharri Porter of the home; a daughter; Jennifer Lackey Foster and husband, Chad, and a son, Ryan Lackey, all of North Wilkesboro; his mother, Marjoree Lambert Mathena, and step-father; Edward Lee Mathena “Pops” of North Wilkesboro; and a brother, James Michael Lackey and wife, Kim, of North Wilkesboro.
