Raydell Miller Bullis Meeker, 95, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, at her home. Raydell was born July 27, 1925, in Ashe County to David Hampton and Etta Barnes Miller.
Mrs. Meeker was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids. She also loved the Christmas season and going to church when she was able. Raydell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Douglas Meeker; son, Clyde Miller; brothers, Phonso Miller, Philo Miller, Maynard Miller, Paul Miller, Isaac Miller; sisters, Elsie Trembley, Chessie Bowlin, Betty Pardue, Mae Combs, Sadie Jarvis, Hattie Wolfe and Johnsie Anderson.
Surviving are her son, Claude Bullis and spouse, Kathleen, of Clemmons; daughters, Shirley Gibbs and spouse, Gary, of North Wilkesboro, Debbie Johnston and spouse, Harry, of Winston-Salem; brother, Paul Miller and spouse, Mae, of Cricket; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, at Miller Funeral Chapel with Rev. Hugh Hoyle and Rev. Luke Pyles officiating. Burial will follow in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 1-2 p.m. on Monday prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.
