Pastor Mike Parker, 71, of Wilkesboro passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at his home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, at Reins Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny Scott and Brother Bob Roark officiating. Entombment will be at Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The public may view on Wednesday Sept. 1, 2021, from noon-5 p.m. at Reins Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Pastor Mike was born May 7, 1950, in Wilkes County to Clyde Nathan and Virginia Mae Bell Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Call Parker of the home; two sons, Scott Parker and wife, Christy, of Concord, Jeff Parker and wife, Jennifer, of Wilkesboro; six grandchildren, Mikayla Parker, Joshua Parker, Jeremiah Parker, Allison Parker, Alex Parker, Judah Parker; eight great-grandchildren, Ariana Cousins, Jaidyn Cousins, Brayla Cousins, Gage Cousins, Kymbrie Cousins, Kylan Parker, Oaklyn Parker, Parker Arnder; two sisters, Marie Chambers and husband, Paul, of Wilkesboro, Brenda Wagoner of Wilkesboro; two brothers, Thomas Parker and wife, Judy, of Wilkesboro, Tony Parker and wife, Emily, of Statesville.
