Lisa Michelle Rogers Billings, 56, of Roaring River passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Wilkes Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at Maple Springs Baptist Church, with Pastor Tim Webb officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from noon until 1:30 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Billings was born Dec. 30, 1963, in Wilkes County to Lonnie Richard and Eva Jean Dameron Rogers Hatfield. She was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Litisha Ann Billings.
Mrs. Billings is survived by her husband, James Eli Billings Jr. of the home; four daughters, Anna Bass of North Wilkesboro, Jamie Bass of Ohio, Alisha Dountz and husband, Jason, of Ohio and Lori Shew and husband, Steven, of North Wilkesboro; two sons, James Eli Billings III and spouse, Lauren Johnson, of Roaring River and Dillion Jade Billings of the home; 11 grandchildren, Makayla Dountz, Alexis Foster, Haliey Foster, Waylon Dountz, Micha Foster, Madison Foster, Joshua Dountz, Serenity Dountz, Liam Shew, Makenzie Dountz and Kendallyn Dountz; three great-grandchildren, Audri Dountz, Braylen Talbert and Legacie Talbert; and her beloved pet, Nina.
