Linda Triplett Wingler, 79, of Ferguson passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Accordius Health.
Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Elk Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Hamby and Rev. George Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:15 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Linda was born June 27, 1943, in Wilkes County to Jesse Dana Triplett, Sr. and Mary Jane Johnson Triplett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Wingler; one sister, Edith Edmiston; brothers, Jess Triplett, Warren Triplett, Carl Triplett, Benny Triplett; daughter-in-law, Lisa Wingler.
She is survived by a daughter, Nina Wingler Miller and husband, Neil, of Ferguson; one son, Kenny Wingler of Ferguson; step-son, Thomas Wingler and wife, Pam, of Statesville; grandchildren,; Jenna Miller, Michael Wingler and wife, Jenni, all of Ferguson, Shane Wingler and wife, Meagan, of Winston-Salem, Allen Johnson and wife, Taylor, of North Wilkesboro; step-grandchildren, Crystal Eades and husband, Chad, Paula Wingler, Michelle Wingler, all of Statesville; great-grandchildren, “Little Man” of Ferguson, Asher Johnson of North Wilkesboro; step-great-grandchildren, Matthew Eades, Adam Eades, Kasey Eades, Ethan Lippard, all of Statesville; one step-great-great-grandchild, Chance Eades of Statesville; sisters, Carolyn Hall and husband, Paul, of Ferguson, Louise Pierce of Greensboro; brothers, Gene Triplett and wife, Mary Ellen, of Wilkesboro, Clinton Triplett and Angie of Ferguson.
