LaMar Creasman, 80, of North Wilkesboro died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation.
A private family service will be held.
LaMar was born May 6, 1940, to Ralph and Louise Creasman in Chattanooga, Ga. LaMar was a pharmacist for over 50 years in Wilkes and Ashe counties, retiring from Brame Huie Pharmacy. LaMar enjoyed helping his customers. He was instrumental in getting the Care Connection Pharmacy started at the hospital and was one of their first pharmacists. LaMar loved to sing and act. He was a member of the Wilkes Playmakers and Seniors on Stage.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Arlena Barker Creasman.
He is survived by two daughters, Vickie Shupe Shew and husband, Claude Shew Jr., and Robin Shupe Keller and Dave Keller; one son, David Lee Shupe and wife, Karen Rhoades Shupe; five grandchildren, Chris Ferguson and wife, Jessica, Karrie Combs and husband, Matthew, Maggie Shupe, Sophia Shupe, and Amber Keller; six great-grandchildren, Levi Ferguson, Ty Ferguson, Bryce Ferguson, Tori Ferguson, Owen Combs, Addie Combs; one sister-in-law, Janet Hartsog; and three special nephews.
