JR Wayne Stamper, 33, of Hays passed away Monday, June 8, 2020, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel, with the Rev. Wiley Boggs officiating. Burial will be at Union Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m., prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Russell Blevins, Randy Blevins, Darren Blevins, William Royall, Joe Wagoner, Mickey Wagoner and Joseph Wagoner.
Mr. Stamper was born Dec. 3, 1986, in Wilkes County to Jimmy Junior Wagoner and Tammy Blevins Wagoner.
He is survived by his parents; his mother, Regina Dowell of North Wilkesboro; his stepfather, Rodney Matthew Stamper of North Wilkesboro; a son, Brantley Wade Stamper of Tennessee; a sister, Ariana Paige Stamper of North Wilkesboro; three brothers, Gary Rodney Stamper and wife, Amanda, Matthew James Stamper and Jared Nathaniel Ball, all of North Wilkesboro; his grandparents, Muriel Cleary Blevins of Hays, Cranford Lee Wagoner of McGrady and Carolyn Ward and husband, Samuel, of Traphill; his nieces, Abagail and Katherine Stamper; and two nephews, Jace and Liam Stamper.
