“Jimmy” Dale Williams Sr., 67, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born Aug. 24, 1953, in Wilkes County to Elmer and Anna Lee Foster Williams. Jimmy was U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father; sister, Lisa Church; and his first wife, Carol Williams.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Kathy Sheets Williams; mother, Anna Lee Foster Williams of Wilkesboro; children, Cleveland Malone and spouse, Rebecca, of Virginia, Amy Malone, Krystal Caron and spouse, Larry, of Washington State, Davina Benge and spouse, Ricky, of Ferguson, Christopher Wyatt of Roaring River, Jimmy Williams, Jr. of Washington State, Michael Wyatt of North Wilkesboro, Jeremy Williams of Hays, Chandra Williams of Washington State, Renee Greene and spouse, Joven, of Wilkesboro, Jon Williams, Caroline Williams both of Washington State, siblings, Betty Wagoner of Mulberry, Kathy Brown of Wilkesboro, Debra Benge of Ferguson, Dean Williams of Ferguson, Ruth Porter of Wilkesboro, Janice Brooks of North Wilkesboro, Brenda Roland of Ashe County, Rhoda Smithey, Randy Williams, Mark Williams all of Wilkesboro; 27 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. July 2, 2021, at Gospel Tabernacle Church with Pastor Chuck Call and Pastor Mark Williams officiating. Burial with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard Post 1142 will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Gospel Tabernacle Church from 1-2 p.m. Friday, prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
