James Richard "Jimmy" Call Jr., 63, of Wilkesboro passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020, at his home. He was born Sept. 17, 1956, in Wilkes County to James Richard Call Sr. and Ida Mae Anderson Call.
Jimmy was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord. He loved auto racing, Corvettes and restoring antique cars.
Mr. Call was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Billy Edward Call; and a niece, Latricia Fox.
Surviving are his brother, James Douglas Call of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; his sister, Rhetta Call Randleman of Statesville; his nieces, Loresa Helms and spouse, Scott, of Statesville and Michelle Minton and spouse, Scott, of Millers Creek; his nephew, Johnathan Call and spouse, Tania, of Wilkesboro; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, T.J. Holleman, Peyton Helms, Mikki Fox, Ethan Call and Titan Minton.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Edgewood Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Adams and the Rev. Terry Call officiating.
