Hollis Dwayne Faw, 58, of Millers Creek passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at his home. Mr. Faw was born July 29, 1961, in Wilkes County to Turner Albert and Maizie Elna Bumgarner Faw.
He was a Christian man and was happily married for 30 years.
Hollis was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Neil Turner Faw.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Edwards Faw; his sons, Joshua Nathaniel Faw and Benjamin Jeremiah Faw, both of Millers Creek; his daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Faw and Hannah Marie Faw, both of Millers Creek; a sister, Nancy Faw Osborne Crowell and spouse, Spencer, of Concord; his niece, Amber Edwards and spouse, Brandon, of Kannapolis; a nephew, Aaron Osborne of Wilkesboro; a great-niece, Maven Edwards; a great-nephew, Paxton Edwards; and several cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, at Millers Creek United Methodist Church, with the Rev. H. Cowles Bristol III, the Rev. Fred Staley and Steve Laws officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Millers Creek United Methodist Church from 1 until 2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
Flowers will be accepted.
