Hardin Junior Adams, 76, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021, at his home. He was born April 14, 1945, in Bell, Ky., to Warren G. and Fannie Saylor Adams. Mr. Adams was a member of Lewis Baptist Church. He loved to paint crafts, garden and work in his flowers. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Adams; and grandson, Robert Hardin Adams.
He leaves to mourn, his wife of 56 years, Betty Souther Adams; sons, Jerry Adams of the home, Larry Adams and spouse, Sandy, of Millers Creek; grandchildren, Ashley Adams and fiancé, Joshua Collins, Alisha Branson and spouse, Johnathan, all of North Wilkesboro, Levi Adams and Ethan Adams both of Gastonia, Jessica Faw of North Wilkesboro; great-grandchildren, Riley Collins, Ronnie Collins, Savannah Collins, Eli Collins all of North Wilkesboro; brother, John Adams of Indiana; sisters, Virginia Adams, Iva Lucas and spouse, Glenn, all of Alabama, Daisy Tuggle and spouse, James, of Georgia; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Miller Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Campbell and Rev. Larry Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.
