Ginger Diane Triplett Shehan, 60, of Arrowood Street, Lenoir, passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at Caldwell UNC Health Care. She was born Feb. 24, 1959, in Wilkes County to Markus Dow Triplett and Betty White Greene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Donald Shehan and Scotty Odeal Shehan; one sister, Lynette Wilson; and the father of her children, Perry Eugene Shehan.
Ms. Shehan had worked as a sewer for Knitso and was a member of the Baptist denomination. She will be remembered as a strong-willed and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her loving partner, Larry Hibbs of Lenoir; one son, Ricky Allen Shehan of Lenoir; one daughter, Kimberly Danielle Hiner and husband, Lucas, of New Mexico; three brothers, Gary Triplett, Dwayne Triplett and Dennis Triplett, all of Lenoir; three sisters, Elizabeth Smith and husband, J.B., Karon Crisp and husband, David, and Sharon Harris and husband, Larry, all of Lenoir; three grandchildren, Bruce Alan Shatley, Kimberlin Marie “Kimmi” Shatley and Caleb Scott Shehan; one great-grandchild, Bryce Owyn Shatley; and her two dogs, Odie and Barney.
Any family that wishes to pay their final respects to Ginger may do so by attending the scattering of ashes ceremony on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at 4 p.m. at Edminston Cemetery in Elk Creek.
