Daniel Jason Shepherd

Daniel Jason Shepherd, 37, of Millers Creek, died on Feb. 19, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Health — Wilkes Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at Shepherd Family Cemetery, 795 Green Acres Road, Millers Creek, with Pastor Denny Roten officiating. The public may view at the gravesite from 1:30-2 p.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Shepherd was born May 13, 1983, in Wilkes County to Clinton Shepherd and Rosie Lee Wayne Shepherd. He was a carpenter and metal fabricator and liked to weld and tinker. He enjoyed painting portraits and was a good artist.

He was preceded in death by four grandparents, one aunt and four uncles.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Jason Shepherd II of Ferguson; his parents, Clinton and Rosie Shepherd of Millers Creek; two brothers, Gregory Allan Shepherd of McGrady and Christopher Earl Shepherd of Millers Creek; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
