Charlotte Ann Johnson, 64, of North Wilkesboro passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Wilkes Medical Center. She was born April 22, 1955, in McDowell County, W.Va., to Arthur Glenn Neil and Alstrelia Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Billy Ben Johnson, Calvin Ray Johnson and Dennis A. Newbill.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Alicia Johnson Rice and spouse, Richard, of Winston-Salem and Danielle J. Valero and spouse, Ramon, of Greensboro; a son, Treymayne Johnson of Asheville; her grandchildren, Nakkio L. Smith and spouse, Shaniqual and Nakouye N. Smith, all of Winston-Salem, Travion L. Johnson, Christopher Gilreath, Christina Gilreath and Isabel Johnson, all of Charlotte, and Analia Bravo of North Wilkesboro; her brothers, Larry Barnes and spouse, Carol, of Roaring River, Darrell Johnson of North Wilkesboro, Norman Johnson and spouse, Jamie, of Moravian Falls, Christopher Johnson and spouse, Shawn, of Mount Airy, William Johnson of North Wilkesboro and Aaron Johnson of New York; her sisters, Dreama Comer and spouse, Ray, of Clarksville, Tenn., Kim Johnson and LaTonya Johnson, both of North Wilkesboro, and Debra Gravely and spouse, Charles, of Bluefield, W.Va.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, at Miller Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Casey Walker and the Rev. James Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, prior to the service.
