Charles Edgar Bauguess, 74, of Wilkesboro passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021, at Scenic Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Smith, Rev. Tim Call and Rev. Brian Sampson officiating.
Mr. Bauguess was born Feb. 17, 1946, in Wilkes County to J.C. Bauguess and Mary Wiles Bauguess. He was a member of Cub Creek Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army. Charles was a diesel mechanic and worked with his father at J.C. Bauguess Trucking.
He was preceded in death by parents and a nephew, Maj. Larry J. Bauguess.
He is survived by two sisters, Linda Roberts of Taylorsville, Jane Marlowe and Martin Cheek of Wilkesboro and a brother, John Bauguess and wife, Martha, of Moravian Falls.
