Bradley Allen Ball, 33, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020, in Orange County, Calif. Born Oct. 16, 1987, to Richard Ball and Tracy Fox in Wilkes County. Brad was recently honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He was a highly-decorated soldier, achieving the level of staff sergeant, with Air Assault Training, Airborne and completing N.C.O. courses. In addition to his military career, Brad was an avid roller blader, had a passion for music, was a Carolina Panther fan and loved his family.
A service for Brad will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, in Mountlawn Memorial Park. Rev. Chris Meade and Pastor Craig Sigmon will be officiating. Military rites will be provided by the Army National Guard and DAV Chapter 84.
Brad was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Teresa Holloway, and his paternal grandfather, Rick Ball.
Those left to share and cherish the memories of Brad include his mother, Tracy Fox, and husband, Jeff; father, Richard Ball, and wife, Joy; one son, Christian Ball; brother, Daniel Ball; two step-brothers, Josh Fox and wife, Lorie, and Jacob Fox; paternal grandmother, Elaine Ball; step-grandparents, Allen and Jean Fox; special family, Louie Curte, Susie Curte, Danielle Curte, Dina Ball; and a number of aunts and uncles.
