Bertha June Bumgarner Dockery

Bertha June Bumgarner Dockery, 84, of Ferguson entered into eternity Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at Woltz Hospice Home.

A private family graveside service will be held

Mrs. Dockery was born Dec. 4, 1936, in Wilkes County to Harry Delbert and Veoria Elledge Bumgarner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded to eternal life by two sisters, Mae Benge and Pauline Hendrix.

She is survived by a daughter, June Williams and husband, Dean, of Ferguson; a son, Doug Dockery and wife, Diane of Hickory; four grandchildren, Dan Williams and wife, Amy, Rebecah Williams, Jessica King and husband, Haynes, and Emily Johnson; five great-grandchildren, Marian King, Frank King, Finley Johnson, Avery Williams and Asher Williams; two sisters, Betty Jones and Nancy Craven, both of Ferguson; and a brother, Ron Jones and wife, Betty, of Matthews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, N.C., 27017.
