Bertha Ann Sidden “Bert” Bowman, 63, of North Wilkesboro went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Bert was born Feb. 5, 1957, in Wilkes County to Chester and Mary Ann Stamper Sidden.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all services at Miller Funeral Services will now be private.
She was a loving wife, wonderful mother and grandmother. She always had a smile on her face and never knew a stranger. Bert was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Bert loved to do craft work, and loved Greenstreet Mountain, quilting and spending time with her family and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Bill Sidden, Jerry Sidden and Kenneth Henry Sidden.
Bert is survived by her husband, Earl Bowman, who was the love of her life; her sons, Clint Johnson and spouse, Kelly, of North Wilkesboro and Eric Bowman of McGrady; her grandchildren, Bryan Johnson of North Wilkesboro, Seth Johnson of Wilkesboro, Terry Bowman of McGrady, Dylan Johnson and Tiera Johnson, both of North Wilkesboro, Haleigh Bowman of McGrady and Chase Johnson of North Wilkesboro; her brothers, Bob Sidden and spouse, Nancy, of China Grove, Dan Sidden and spouse, Pam, of Mississippi, Tom Sidden and spouse, Shirley, of North Wilkesboro and Chris Sidden and spouse, Julie, of Sparta; and her sisters, Carol Lambert and spouse, Mackie, Cathy Sidden and Mary Lois “Sissy” Sidden, all of North Wilkesboro.
Funeral services will be private.
