Belinda Phillips Laws, 54, of Purlear passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, at Forsyth Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at New Hope Baptist Church in Purlear with Pastor Steve Bufkin and Pastor Anita Sain officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. Laws was born Aug. 9, 1966, in Wilkes County to Wayne Gray and Linda L. Phillips. She was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church in Jefferson. Belinda loved animals, loved going on the Ghost Tours in Wilkesboro and enjoyed doing paranormal investigations.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Gray Phillips.
She is survived by her husband, Rickey Dale Laws of the home; mother, Linda L. Phillips of Purlear; aunt, Madge McNeil; great-aunt, OnaDea Yates; and cousins, Brenda Caudill and Grant, Brad and Shane Caudill.
