The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman Sunday on charges of misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest following an incident involving shots fired at utility workers on Fairground Road in Taylorsville.
Utility workers told deputies that the woman, identified as Susan Lynn Moose, 61, of Taylorsville, cursed them and fired two shots at them while they were about 150 feet up in the air working on a cell phone tower, stated a press release.
Moose, 61, of Taylorsville, barricaded herself inside her residence and wouldn’t respond to officers’ commands, the press release said. She was then removed from her home, arrested, and transported to the Alexander County Law Enforcement Center.
Moose was placed under a $10,000 secured bond and given a court date of Dec. 16
