The 14th annual Wilkes County High School Band Expo is Saturday at Wilkes Central High School’s Wes Steele Stadium in Moravian Falls.

Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. and performances will be from 11 a.m. to about 1:45 p.m.

The East Wilkes, North Wilkes, West Wilkes and Wilkes Central high school bands will perform their 2021 halftime shows.

The event will conclude with the four bands combining to perform “Armed Forces Salute” and “God Bless America” to honor veterans.

Admission is $5 per person, with veterans admitted free. Admission includes one band expo program per family. Milkshakes on-site and barbecue will be sold onsite.

The expo is held at a different one of the four high schools each year.
