A PACKED CROWD assembled for the Friday night tributes to Tom Petty and the Eagles on the Carolina West Wireless Community Commons in Wilkesboro. The audience was estimated to be as large, or larger, than last year’s Eagles show and this summer’s Toto/Journey ticket that each brought about 3,000 people to the downtown.
