The Elkin Police Department reported that a FedEx driver was robbed near the Sheetz convenience store at 401 CC Camp Road, which is at the North Bridge Street intersection in Elkin, at 1:11 p.m. Monday.

At 1:21 p.m. Monday, the Wilkes Communications Center issued a “BOLO” (be on the lookout) with a description of a vehicle and occupants possibly involved in the armed robbery.

The BOLO stated that it was a red Toyota Corolla with three black males inside, believed to be westbound on N.C. 268 East in eastern Wilkes County.

At 2 p.m. Monday, the BOLO was updated to say that the left rear bumper of the Toyota is damaged.
