The Downtown North Wilkesboro Partnership is hosting a Spring Social & Shop event on Friday, April 16, starting at 5 p.m.

Participating businesses will stay open later so shoppers can take their time checking out what’s new, grabbing a bite to eat and strolling around to background tunes from The Phillip Boyce Band. The band will be playing on 10th Street, alongside a new food truck, Suckitup Milkshakes. Shops and restaurants alike will be offering promotions and sales all evening.

“As town begins to slowly open back up, our small businesses, their owners and employees need the support of their neighbors. Events like the Spring Social & Shop highlight downtown and what great and unique businesses we have. When we shop small and local, we reinvest in our community and help our businesses thrive,” said Downtown North Wilkesboro Partnership Director Crystal Keener.

She said participating businesses on Main Street are Fruit of the Vine Boutique, Annatiques, Hallmark/Quickframe, Ivy Ridge Traditions, the Vintage Home Studio, A Baby Celebration, Dispensary Pub and Restaurant, 6th and Main Restaurant, Hometown Collaborative (Gordon Avenue behind Wilkes Towers) , Copper Barrel Distillery and Carolina Treasures on Main.

On 10th Street participants are Dom Bakeries, Spinning Wheels Yarn Creations, Taupe Gallery, Bliss Salon, Under His Wings Designs and Boutique and. Roselli’s on 10th

On Ninth Street, participants are Rossman Apiaries and Hero Clash Collectibles.
