Plans are being made for a drive-through prayer service in response to the coronavirus pandemic from 3-5 p.m. March 28 in the traffic circle in front of Mountain View Elementary School in Hays.

The Rev. Richard Caudill, pastor of Maple Grove Baptist Church is Hays, is organizing the event. Several other local pastors are involved. People wanting a time of prayer can drive into the traffic circle, park and someone will come pray with them.

Other pastors planning to be there include the Rev. Donnie Shumate, pastor of Bethel Baptist, North Wilkesboro; the Rev. Justin Blevins, youth pastor of Bethel Baptist Church; the Rev. Troy Behrens, pastor of Harmony Baptist Church, Millers Creek; the Rev. Brian Blankenship, pastor of Mountain View Baptist Church, Hays; the Rev. Brian Mathis, pastor of Little Mountain Baptist Church, North Wilkesboro; and the Rev. Keith Lyon, pastor of Oak Grove Baptist, Millers Creek.
