The North Wilkesboro Woman’s Club is a part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. The club will virtually celebrate Federation Day on April 19.

“By Living the Volunteer Spirit, the clubwomen of the North Wilkesboro Woman’s Club work locally to create global change through supporting the arts, preserving natural resources, advancing education, promoting healthy lifestyles, encouraging civic involvement and outreach along with working toward world peace and understanding,” said a club spokesman.
