Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Greene III of Warner Robins, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Elizabeth Greene, to Daniel William Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Wood of Wilkesboro.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Greene II of Bowling Green, Ky. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Broxton of Warner Robins, Ga.
She is a 2010 graduate of Warner Robins High School and is a 2014 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she received a bachelor’s degree in child and family development. She received her master of public administration in 2016. She is a certified child life specialist. The bride-to-be is employed at the Methodist Home in Macon, Ga. as the director of Eagle’s Nest Children’s Center.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lael of Wilkesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stacey Wood of McGrady.
He is a 2006 graduate of West Wilkes High School and is a 2011 graduate of Appalachian State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He is employed as a PE/health teacher at Kings Chapel Elementary School and is a softball and baseball coach at Perry High School in Perry, Ga.
The wedding is scheduled for Oct. 14, 2017 at 5 p.m. at Green Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Ga. After a honeymoon to California, the couple will reside in Warner Robins, Ga.
