The family of Lillian and Larry Eldreth honored them with a reception at Cub Creek Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Oct. 28, to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

Many family members, work associates and friends in the church and community attended the reception.

Mr. Eldreth is retired from Ferrell Gas and Mrs. Eldreth is employed at Great State Bank, serving as corporate secretary and customer service representative.

They are both active members of Cub Creek Baptist Church and have taught Sunday school and worked with the youth. Mr. Eldreth continues to work with the youth, teach Sunday school and serve as a deacon. He also assists with the Good News Club at Moravian Falls Elementary School.

“They are truly an outstanding couple who have set Christian values that we all can pattern our lives by,” said a family friend.

The Eldreths were married Oct. 29, 1967, at Cub Creek Baptist Church.
