It appearing to the Court from the allegations of the Petition in this cause and the affidavit of the Petitioner that the whereabouts of the children’s alleged father are unknown and that ordinary process of law cannot be served upon him, and it is, therefore, ordered that the Respondent be served by publication of the following notice for one day per week for four (4) consecutive weeks in the Wilkes Journal-Patriot, a newspaper published in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina:

The State of Tennessee, Department of Children’s Services, has filed a petition against you seeking to terminate forever your parental rights to B.C. and R.C., children born on February 27, 2014 and February 24, 2017, respectively, on the grounds that you have willfully abandoned these children, and other grounds. It appears that ordinary process of law cannot be served upon you because your whereabouts are unknown. You are hereby ORDERED to respond by filing an Answer to the Petition filed against you. A copy of the Petition may be obtained at the office of the Juvenile Court of Johnson County, Tennessee, at 222 W. Main Street, Mountain City, Tenn. 37683. Failing to answer without good cause shown, pursuant to Juvenile Court Rule 103 of the Tenn. R. Juv. P. will result in the loss of your right to contest the petition to terminate your parental rights to the child listed above. You may view and obtain a copy of the Petition and any other subsequently filed legal documents at the Johnson County Juvenile Court Clerk’s Office for Johnson County, Tennessee, located at 222 W. Main Street, Mountain City, Tenn. 37683.
