Lowes Foods announced that effective Thursday, March 26, all of its supermarkets in North Carolina and South Carolina will be open to customers from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.

This change in hours is being made to allow more time for cleaning and to provide additional support for store hosts, stated a Lowes press release.

The hour between 7 and 8 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday is still set aside for seniors and those vulnerable to the virus to shop to help distance them from other shoppers, the press release stated.
